Hoorik Issakhanian

 

Hoorik has always been interested in Arts. She has been drawing and Painting since she was very young.  Her talent developed over the years which led to formal education at Ealing College of London, UK, where her focus was Graphics and Fashion/textile design. Her interest over the next few years were focused mostly on Paintings and some Textile design.

 

About 12 years ago, Hoorik got interested in Ceramics. She studied at Glendale Community College where she learned basics of pottery. Her passion for Ceramics grew as she honed her technique over the  years. She later integrated her drawing and painting talent on ceramic pieces developing her own style.

 

Hoorik's work has been featured and exhibited at various venues such as:

  • Ink & Clay 34, 35, 36
  • The American Museum of Ceramic Art  (AMOCA)
  • Numerous Student shows
  • Private gallery exhibits
  • American Ceramic Society group shows
  • Featured artist in Armenian Reporter Magazine (Article)
